Healing can be gotten by anyone, but not everyone today is healed. But unto you, that fear my name… This is an assurance to those who fear the name of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is scarce today, talk more about his name. If you fear his name there’s a promise of healing for you. If you do not fear his name, then there’s no guarantee of healing for you.

But unto you… not unto them, but unto others, but unto you. Healing is a very particular thing he gives to particular people. If you are not part of this “you” the word of God is talking about, then, it is better to read this instead. However, if you consider yourself the “you” he is talking about, then you need to pay close attention to what the word of God is saying. 

Now, the ‘You’ in this verse refers to one who fears the name of the Lord. To fear is an action word. This is not about being scared, like one afraid of a roaring lion, but a reverence, an acknowledgment, an admittance of the name of the Lord and its power. If you don’t have this fear, it may be hard to get healing.

Remember the man that sat at the gate called Beautiful? He’s part of this “you.” He feared the name of the Lord. In the twinkle of an eye, he that begged alms, for money, became a walking testimony of the power in the name of the Lord. The only thing he was told, was “Silver and gold, I have non, but such as I have, In the name of Jesus, arise and walk,” and he feared that name. He arose. He didn’t sit still yet begging for money. 

However, you have heard this many times the name, but nothing has happened to you. Even if you wonder why the same name has brought healing to so many, but when it gets your turn, you conclude God doesn’t want you to be healed. And that is a lie from the pit of hell. The reason why you may not have been healed is that your fear has been the fear of money. You believe if you have silver and Gold… if only you had them in millions, you’d go to the best specialist hospital and you’d be healed. If you don’t have a change of mind, you will remain sick.

So many good things can happen to you when you fear the name of the Lord. This fear is belief in the name of the Lord. Furthermore, the woman who had the issue of blood for 18 years feared her money for 18 years. She went to the best physicians and surgeons. They drained her of all her wealth for a good 18 years, She was so wealthy that it took 18 years for all her wealth to be maxed out. But it was maxed out eventually. And that is what you haven’t realized about money. Money has a breaking point. It can be exhausting. It is foolishness to fear money than to fear the name of the Lord. 

This woman, simply heard of the name of the Lord. She heard of the wonders of this name and what it has done for thousands… she thought to herself one day. If only I would just touch the ham of the garment of this Lord, whose name I have heard…Yes! This was her Aha moment! You too can have an Aha moment when you stop believing in the ability of money to heal you or the power of the sickness to leave you. Wake up and believe in the name again, and you’ll get help. She touched the hem of the garment of the Lord whose name she heard and was instantly healed. Believe now and be healed.

Also, remember Joseph Jacobs, a young man who feared the Lord and his name. The fear of the Lord caused him never to yield to the sexual advances of Mrs Potiphar. He said to Mrs Pot. “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God”? And indeed How can you keep living in sin and expect to heal? It is ”… unto you who fear the name of the  Lord…” If you do not fear the name of the Lord, you will sin. You will keep misbehaving and sickness will keep having power against you! And the resultant effect will be no healing!

Why You Need To Fear The Name Of The Lord To Get Healing

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4:2

1. The Sun of Righteousness Shall Arise With Healing in His Wings

The first thing that happens to you when you fear the name of the Lord is that the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in his wings. The sun of righteousness is not a sun of righteousness, but “the” which means this sun of righteousness is a particular sun of righteousness. This sun of righteousness is the Lord Jesus. When you fear the name of the Lord, He will arise with healing in his wings. Yes, the sun of righteousness has wings. And with his wings, comes healing. Peter’s mother-in-law lay sick in her bed, a woman who feared the name of the Lord. Jesus himself came to her and he stood over her and rebuked the sickness and she was healed.

2. And You Shall Go Forth

The second thing that happens to you when you fear the name of the Lord is that you shall go forth. You will be free from the hold of sickness. And like Peter’s mother-in-law, the moment the sun of righteousness arose on her and rebuked her sickness, she rose immediately and began to attend to Jesus and the disciples. You will no longer be bound or bedridden. What this means is that you will be able to do things that you weren’t able to do. You will not be stagnated in the sickness. You will go forth and You will be carried by the wings of the sun of righteousness. If you lost anything during the sickness, Jesus is restoring it.

3. And Grow Up as Calves of The Stall

Now, the third thing that happens to you when you fear the name of the Lord is that you grow up as calves of the stall. You experience quick improvement in your growth. This means that the sun of righteousness, Jesus doesn’t just touch your health. Whenever he arises upon you, every part of your life will know growth, You will first experience healing in your spirit, then your soul and body. It is complete healing when Jesus arises upon you,

What Must You Do To Enjoy This Healing?

Jesus is always willing and ready to give you this healing. However, you must give up every fear for other things that are not the name of the Lord. Your belief in money must change. Your belief in the power of the so-called sickness must change. You must now run and embrace the name of the Lord and its power. It is written, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are saved.”
